Meet Dr. Justyna Chojnowski
Justyna Chojnowski, DDS
Being a dentist is not just a job for me—it’s my passion! I love being able to work with a variety of patients and help them improve and maintain their smiles through excellent dental care, as well as personalized attention. I love being able to teach my patients new things and get them involved and really understand what we are doing. It brings me joy to help my patients perfect their smiles, because it is usually one of the first things people notice.
Most importantly, I strive to provide the best care possible while being compassionate and gentle. I know most people do not like coming to the dentist, but I hope that I am able to foster an environment where my patients feel comfortable and heard.
Education and Continuing Education
The mouth is such an important part of our body, but it often gets overlooked. A smile is one of the first things people notice, yet it is so often neglected. I wanted to become a dentist to help educate people about the importance of oral health and how it plays a factor in overall wellbeing.
- B.S. in Biology with a minor in Business Administration – Marquette University
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery – Marquette University School of Dentistry
Maintaining and advancing my knowledge in the field of oral healthcare is vital to practicing modern, evidence-based dentistry. By taking continuing education courses, I am able to keep up to date on the most current techniques and technology, including 3D and digital computerized dentistry. This allows me to continuously keep learning and thus provide my patients with the best care possible. I often attend online CE courses, as well as the Chicago Midwinter Meeting and local study groups.

Outside the Office
When I am not working, I can be found traveling, taking walks or working out, reading, and playing sports (especially basketball and volleyball). I love a good book, especially alongside a cup of coffee, and am open to any recommendations! Of course, life would be incomplete without the quality time I spend with my family and friends.
